Help with the apps.
Common problems, how to get your data out, and how to reach a person.
How to reach us
Email support@movemetric.org. One person reads that inbox, and you will normally hear back within two business days. During the school year, replies may take a little longer.
To make a bug report useful, include:
- Which app, and which device (for example, iPad Pro 11-inch, iPadOS 26)
- What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead
- A screenshot, if the problem is something you can see
The apps
ClassMetrics HR
iPadLive heart-rate monitoring for a whole PE class, with time-in-zone and MVPA reporting.
- Straps will not connect: make sure Bluetooth is on, the strap is damp against the skin, and no other app or device is already paired to it. A strap can only talk to one thing at a time.
- Data missing on a second iPad: sign in on both iPads with the same account and leave sync on. Sync carries classes, students and sessions, not a live session in progress.
- Music will not play: playlist playback uses your own Apple Music subscription on that iPad.
CoachSAGE
iPhone and iPadFrame-by-frame video review for coaches and PE teachers, with optional AI feedback on a movement.
- Where clips live: on the device, in the app. They are not uploaded and they are not backed up to us, so deleting the app deletes the clips.
- Feedback says it cannot see the skill: that is deliberate. If the clip does not show the movement you picked, the app refuses rather than inventing coaching for it.
- Subscriptions: billed by Apple. Manage or cancel in Settings on your device, under your name, then Subscriptions.
Basal
iPhoneAn adaptive macro tracker that corrects its own targets against what your body actually does.
- Targets look wrong at first: they are meant to. Basal spends about two weeks comparing its estimate against your real intake and weight before it settles.
- Health data missing: check Settings, then Health, then Data Access & Devices, and confirm Basal is allowed to read what it asks for.
- A meal was read wrong: every assumption is editable on the meal, and the correction sticks for that entry.
Getting your data out, or deleting it
ClassMetrics HR. Export any class or session to CSV from the Reports screen. To delete everything held for your account, sign out on every iPad, delete the app, and email support@movemetric.org so the synced copy is removed as well.
CoachSAGE. Everything is on the device. Delete a clip in the app, or delete the app to remove all of them.
Basal. Export your log from Settings. Meals Basal wrote to Apple Health are removed in the Health app, under Basal in Data Access & Devices.
For schools and districts
If you are evaluating ClassMetrics HR for a department or a district, email support@movemetric.org and say roughly how many teachers and classes are involved. Questions about data handling, retention and access are answered in writing.
